Modelo de intercambio económico en una sociedad estratificada con interacciones locales

Abstract

A model of interacting economic agents in a stratified society is investigated when the notion of local connectivity is introduced. The agents are placed on a network where interactions between connected agents occur if they belong to the same economic stratum. A stratum is defined through a parameter that measures the maximum difference in wealth that agents may have in order to interact. The collective propreties of the system are characterized by the Gini cofficient, that measures the degree of inequality in the wealth distribution in the system, as wells as by a novel parameter, that we call activity, which measures the average of the total wealth exchanged in time

Resumen

Se investiga un modelo de agentes económicos interactivos en una sociedad estratificada en la que se introduce la noción de conectividad local. Los agentes se ubican una red donde las interacciones ocurren entre agentes conectados, solamente si éstos pertenecen a un mismo estrato económico. Un estrato se define a través de un parámetro que mide la diferencia máxima de riqueza entre agentes requerida para interacccionar. Las propiedades colectivas del sistema se caracterizan mediante el coeficiente de Gini, que describe el grado de desigualdad en la distribución de riqueza en el sistema, y mediante un novedoso parámetro de orden, que denominamos la actividad, y el cual mide el promedio de la riqueza total intercambiada en el tiempo
